Vicky and Patrick in Canmore Alberta.

Vicky Bunny Angel, a well-known cosplayer from Toronto,  traveled to the Rocky Mountains this past September for a week long trip with fellow cosplayers.  I was privileged to be one of the three photographers on this trip. Vikki's boyfriend, Patrick  from Tricky Love Photography, joined her on her adventure.  Their love for board games, and each other, is adorable.

When we were in the Rocky Mountains In Canmore, it did't feel right to not photograph them. I felt obligated to take photos of this beautiful couple! They have been together for three years and within those three years they have had three cosplay photoshoots together! I am happy to report, I am their first none cosplay photoshoot!

Amanda and Eric's Engagement party

My beautiful sister Amanda got engaged to Eric this summer! My mother was extremely happy about their engagement, so when these two islanders came to visit she threw them a party in her backyard in Kelowna to celebrate with immediate family and close friends. It was a lovely and quaint event with lots of cider, warm beer, cute cupcakes, and good food! If that was any indication of what their wedding will be like, it's safe to say their wedding is going to be a blast and so friggen adorable!

Jazzy and Steven's Engagement Shoot

My first engagement session

I'll never forget my first engagement session. I was so nervous. My first engagement session clients were Jazzy and Steven. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to photograph their engagement and wedding in 2014. They found my photography through the University of British Columbia Facebook page.  I was extremely excited to photograph my first wedding with them!

These engagement photographs were taken near sunset at Bertram park in south Kelowna. Bertram is a fantastic location for a photoshoot. Many different background options to choose from! Aren't they just such a beautiful and stunning couple?! I wish them a life time of happiness, health and love!

Colourful Portraits with my Mother

A few days ago I photographed a children's birthday party in Kelowna. At the event there were these beautiful massive balloons. I asked the parents (my clients)  if I could take some balloons home, and they said I could!  The event ended late, I stuffed the balloons into my car. You can only imagine how silly I looked driving with a car stuffed with pink baloons! Anyways, as it was late, I decided to spend the night at my mothers house nearby.

My mother was also mesmerized by these balloons! I wanted to use the balloons as soon as possible. I decided it would be a great idea to take photographs of my mother with the balloons in the morning.

In the morning my mother put on her favourite dress and we went to her pergola in her backyard.  The photos turned out great - I absolutely love them. When my mother looked at the pictures she was amazed at herself. I'am glad my pictures can reflect her inner and outer beauty. I had a lot of fun with these portraits !
